The Sleepover Club: The Return of F O M O

After a year in lockdown, FOMO - aka fear of missing out - feels like a bit of an abstract concept. For the past twelve months, we've pretty much all been living similar existences. But as things open back up, how can we stop FOMO creeping back into our lives?

Many of us are feeling an immense pressure to close this period of our lives in a meaningful way; whether it's finishing a project, sorting your skin out, or simply having an answer to 'how was your lockdown?' that isn't totally negative.

This week, we're breaking down different types of pressure; from what to do if you're feeling anxious about getting back to the pub, how to assert your boundaries in social situations, the pressure of creating a better world than the one we entered lockdown in, and how to be mindful of your friends who may be struggling as the world starts opening up.

We're discussing the intricacies of FOMO and how to manage your emotions and expectations, avoid the fear of being left behind, and stop feeling nostalgic for all the things we hated in the before times.
