The Sleepover Club: Finding True Work-Love Balance with Jessamyn Stanley and Ashe Phoenix

For this episode, we're joined by the wonderful Jessamyn Stanley and Ashe Phoenix. Partners in both work and love, Jessamyn is an author and yoga instructor; with Ashe producing their joint podcast Dear Jessamyn and the pair working together on We Go High North Carolina. But working together and loving each other isn't always easy, and the couple are talking us through how they navigate their relationship as it shifts from the personal to the professional multiple times a day.

With the entire world obsessed with finding balance, we discuss if the term has become a millennial replacement for 'having it all', and what true balance really means. We're also chatting about the performance of love, the flaws in striving for perfection, and how all good relationships take work. The couple will also be discussing polyamory; and how the most important relationship should always be the one you have with yourself.
