Obsessions: Tom Rasmussen on Northern Women

Obsessions is back! Every other week we'll be picking the brain of a different creative about something they admire that has nothing to do with how they generate their income.

Delving deep into the minds of our favourite people's deepest obsessions, this week we're joined by the wonderful Tom Rasmussen. The author, journalist and drag queen will be telling us all about their love of northern, working class women. From what these women taught them, how they've shaped them, and what is so unique about northern femininity; to issues of class disparity, the pressure to assimilate when moving away from home, and how culture is everywhere.
