The Eden Young Fellowship 2025, Application Form
In 2023 we were devastated to lose our close friend, podcast co-host and Managing Editor, Eden Young. To commemorate her life, we are proud to launch the second year of our fellowship program.
The Eden Young Fellowship exists to fund a working class journalist for a fully paid, full time, six month position (with option to mutually extend to one year) in the Polyester team.
Eden had so many wonderful attributes, and chief among them was being a proud working class woman - a rarity in an industry wherein over 80% of journalists come from professional and upper class backgrounds.
To honour her immense legacy within arts, culture, feminism, and internet culture; we’ll employ an aspiring journalist as a member of the Polyester team, and offer them on the job training across all facets of our publication.
