Swt Valli Hi on Self Worth & Reaching a Nirvana in Recent Releases

Make it stand out

Captivating vocals molded by a distinctive bassline, Nirvana is the perfect introspective jam – a sultry beginning to your Autumn.

Things have changed drastically since the pandemic leaving so many of us both anxious and uncertain. Val Okolu, the self-proclaimed artist of the band Swt Valli Hi dedicated her latest single ‘Nirvana’ to the pure hearted. An ethereal love-letter to their Nirvana, this latest track is about the empowerment of romance and the freeing of oneself internally.

I’m an empath, my grandmother in Nigeria on my fathers side was a healer and a queen. My great grandmother on my mothers side was a Creole healer. Since a very young age I always had a strong yet versatile intuition. I’m able to channel the feelings and energies around me into my music.“

Previously SVH entered the fall with Telescope – the perfect banger to cut negative ties. Bold and courageous this single is about rising above the naysayers, staying focused, knowing your worth and remaining authentic.

“Love yourself unconditionally without limitation.”

What are some things you do to let go and relax?

Meditation, a nice candle lit bath with roses and wine. Also, manifestation prayers with poems and mantras.

What is a frequent skin care regimen?

An uncooked egg white face mask.

Is there anything you want readers to take from your music?

Love yourself unconditionally without limitation. Your value is how you value yourself, not the expectation from a job, your partner, your friends or the aspects of clout that surround you.

Most importantly, you must tell yourself whatever words you need to get back to your balance, your Nirvana!

How do you cut the wrongs and troubles of the past off?

Write it on a piece of paper and set it on fire!

What is a vice if you have one that you don’t care to shake?

Naked water based painting with my body on a blank canvas - it's my performance art. To add to all of that another vice is keeping to myself – it’s okay to date yourself, touch yourself sometimes; always be sweet and kind to you!
